Also, are there any plans for healers to receive contribution points through healing? Addressed in Beta Phase 3 We apologize about this and in Beta phase 3 we’ve changed it so not only damage, but how much enmity you generate will affect contribution points, so it is now possible to gain evaluations from healing and other methods. Instead of having a bunch of weak monsters, have strong monsters appear in controlled numbers. Addressed in Beta Phase 3 In Beta phase 1 and 2 we increased the number of enemies for a larger amount of participants, but in Beta phase 3 we’ve implemented a system where the monsters’ HP will scale according to how many players are participating. Please try it out! Please add more FATEs like Breaching the Hive that occur continuously. Addressed in Beta Phase 3 In Beta phase 3 we’ve added continously occurring FATEs even in new areas, so please be sure to check them out. Currently, when I participate in FATE, the monsters are defeated too easily and I can’t earn any contribution points. Addressed in Beta Phase 3 We’ve introduced new areas and think that this should ease the issue where players concentrated on a single FATE. In addition to this we’ve made it so the enemy’s HP scales with the amount of players, so it will be easier to get contribution points. I would like to be able to identify the recommended level of a FATE on a map by the color of the circle. Addressed in Beta Phase 3 In Beta phase 3, by placing your mouse cursor over the FATE circle the recommended level and time until failure will be displayed. Also, with level sync being added it will be possible to participate without it affecting contribution points. Please scale the difficulty and HP of FATE monsters with the number of participants. Addressed in Beta Phase 3 In Beta phase 3, we’ve made monster HP and resistances a bit on the higher side based on the number of players. Instead of just increasing the number of monster pops we’ve made adjustments to the monster’s parameters so that it is easier to gain contribution points. I would like to see more FATE with complicated mechanics and gigantic monsters. Addressed in Beta Phase 3 In Beta phase 3 we will be increasing the amount of escort-related FATEs, and also adding a large scale defense event involving the High Bridge that appeared in the Tour of Eorzea part 2. We also plan on adding large monster battles for launch. I would like to view the recommended level of the FATEs that appear on the map. It’s difficult to tell when a FATE is over especially if you don’t receive a reward. Addressed in Beta Phase 3 In Beta phase 3 we’ve changed this so that there is a notification displayed that lets players participating know when it is over, regardless of if you received contribution points or not. If there is only one large monster in a FATE, the battle will end immediately. Addressed in Beta Phase 3 In Beta phase 3, new areas will be added and monster stats will be changed based on the number of players participating in a FATE. There may be times during the test that it is over sooner than expected. We feel that once the content for release has been unlocked it will calm down a bit. Have items as rewards. Test for Beta Phase 3 Fundamentally the rewards in FATE are experience points and seals; however, some FATEs in Beta 3 will yield items. This is only for the testing of special FATEs for seasonal events and such and not all FATEs will have items. FATE enemies are spawning a bit too bunched up, so it’s occasionally difficult to target the monsters. Continuing to Address For the official release, we will make adjustments to the spawn areas for both currently existing FATEs and those to be added in the future. I would like other ways to obtain seals or else I’m afraid the FATEs will be even more packed. Continuing to Address You will be able to obtain seals not only by FATE, but also when you join a grand company and undertake grand company leves as well as certain quests. In Beta phase 3 a portion of this content will be introduced. I would like music specifically created for FATE in order to identify when a FATE begins and ends. Continuing to Discuss We’ve prepared a special track; however, creating many variations would destroy the image and this has been allocated for special large-scale FATEs only. However, we willl continue to look into this for launch based on feedback. I would like to be able to identify how long a FATE will last from the map. Also, I would like to see the duration of the FATEs extended. Continuing to Discuss FATE is content that has been designed so that you are able to participate in it whenever it occurs in a nearby location. In Beta phase 3, we will be opening up areas, and the number of FATEs will increase, so this should ease some of the congestion. Please try and explore the many FATEs around the areas. Please make it so you can obtain evaluation points by attacking the Coeurlclaw’s henchmen monsters. Working as Intended For FATE, not only bosses, but monsters that have a FATE mark can yield contribution points, so please attack as much as you can. Please make it so you can obtain rare items and better rewards. No Plans to Address Fundamentally the rewards for FATE will be experience points and seals. This is content where adventurers can meet and adventure together quickly, and we have no intention of making them camp for rewards. However, we are looking into having other kinds of rewards for high-level, high difficulty FATEs. Please make it so FATE participants are automatically partied up so AoE spells can be used. Please have an element that records FATE participation to show what FATEs you have participated in and what kind of results you obtained. Please make it so FATE names and levels are displayed beforehand so people are aware what kind of FATE it will be and where the FATE will occur. No Plans to Address In Beta phase 3 we’ve made it so the name, level, and remaining time can be checked via the map, but we do not have any plans of announcing them beforehand. We appreciate your understanding. Please make it easier to understand objectives and what is going on during a FATE by having large messages appear on the screen, and clearly indicated targets. No Plans to Address The details are displayed in the objective list on the right side of the screen and we have no plans to make the display larger. Since FATE is something that occurs in a variety of areas, the reason for players being in these areas are different, and as there are players that do not need their screen taken up by notifications, we’ve fundamentally created this system to not cause any issues.
